Sale Hitachi N5008AC 1-Inch to 2-Inch 7/16-Inch Medium Crown 16 Gauge Stapler
For such a light gun, this one really gets the job done. It's just a bit more than 4 pounds, but it feels even lighter than that in hand because, we assume, of Hitachi's famous design and engineering. Equipped with a contact trip mechanism, it fires as fast as you can go, but you can pick up the optional sequential trigger if you need it. The magazine holds a robust 150 staples, and that means less downtime for reloading. We like the open magazine design, because you can see at just a glance if you're running low on fasteners. Not that we've ever fired blanks...
We couldn't get this gun to jam, but the clearing process is fast and simple: Just release the lock latch, open the blade guide, free the jam with a screwdriver and close the latch. Done. There's a nice clean depth-of-drive adjustment, but it isn't tool-free, so users may prefer controlling that with air pressure. It's a hardworking, trouble-free, rugged gun that will last for years.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste Lightweight design for less operator fatigue; easy load magazine for less downtime and more productivity Quick-clear jam release increases user efficiency Depth of drive adjustment, to countersink or flush drive staples Includes safety glasses and 4mm hex bar wrench 4.4 pounds; 5-year warranty
